BASEBALL
Asheboro 20, Northeast Guilford 4
Sam Gore went 4-for-4 at the plate with 4 doubles, 4 runs driven in and 4 runs scored.
Shane Immel had 3 hits with a triple, 2 rbi and 2 runs scored. There were 2 hits each by Reid Sudduth (rbi,
2 runs) and Gavin Allen (double, 2 rbi, run).
Price Kidd started, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits and 2 walks. Kidd struck out 8 batters before turning the
mound over to Gore who got the win in relief, giving up 1 hits and 3 walks with 5 strikeouts over 2.2 innings.
Eastern Randolph 12, North Moore 0
Cade McCallum (W, 4 IP, 1 hit, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts) and Landon Albright (1 IP, 1 hit, 3 strikeouts)
combined in the shutout win.
The Wildcats got 2 hits each from Carlos Cordero (2 doubles, 4 rbi, 2 runs), Chance Holdaway (2 rbi,
run) and Albright (double, rbi, run).
Uwharrie Charter 11, Jordan-Matthews 1
Jaxon Mabe was 3-for-3 with 3 doubles, 3 rbi and 3 runs scored. Jake Hunter had 3 hits with a double and 2
runs scored. The Eagles got 2 hits each from Ty McCauley (triple, 3 rbi, run) and Brody Engle (triple, run).
McCauley was the winning pitcher going six innings with 1 unearned run on 4 hits and 3 walks. McCauley
struck out eight. Mabe had 2 strikeouts in one inning of relief.
Northwood 5, SW Randolph 0
The Cougars were held to just 2 hits; singles by Lucas Connor and Carson Coltrane. Elijah Sykes pitched
five innings and took the loss.
Providence Grove 10, Wheatmore 0
Andrew Thomas gave up 1 hit and 2 walks in the winning effort. Thomas struck out 15 batters in six innings.
At the plate, Thomas had 3 hits, including 2 doubles, with 2 rbi and 2 runs scored. Conner Haithcock had 2 hits
with an rbi and 2 runs. Among the Patriots with single hits were Caden Waugh with a double and an rbi and Colin Duvall
who tripled, drove in a run and scored a run.
Hunter Goddard had the Wheatmore hit.
Randleman 5, Central Davidson 4
The Tigers scored all 5 runs in the third inning when Jackson Hill drew a bases-loaded walk and Tate
Andrews followed up with a grand slam.
John Kirkpatrick was the winning pitcher working five innings and allowing 4 runs (2 er) on 5 hits and
4 walks with 7 strikeouts. Andrews gave up 2 hits and a walk in 2 innings of relief.
West Davidson 12, Trinity 1
Brody Little and Cohen Wolfe (rbi) had the only hits for Trinity, Peyton Williams started and took the loss
(2 IP, 5 runs, 5 hits, 2 walks, 4 strikeouts). Grayson Fauber and Nick Soles also spent time on the mound.

Eastern Guilford 17, Asheboro 16
Eastern Guilford scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to complete the Wildcats comeback and
come-from-behind win.
Asheboro had 13 hits led by Shellee Culler with 3 hits (2 doubles, 2 runs scored) and 6 runs driven in;
Cora Little had a triple and 3 singles, 4 rbi and 4 runs scored; Kyndall Snipes had 3 hits with a triple, rbi
and 2 runs. Single hits by Kayla Basulto who scored 4 runs, Kloe Woody (rbi) and Lydia Scearce (2 runs).
North Moore 16, Eastern Randolph 6
Shelby Williams (triple, 4 rbi, run) and Vivian Underwood (2 runs) had 2 hits each. Hailey Ritter hit a
double and scored twice.
Providence Grove 7, East Davidson 6
Campbell Ziemba pitched the complete-game victory giving up 1 earned run on 9 hits with 8 strikeouts.
At the plate, Ziemba had 3 hits with a double and an rbi. Carly Lambert had 2 hits and scored 2 runs and
Callie Lambert had 2 hits with 2 rbi. Single hits by Ruby Caudle (double, run), Lara Wiseman (rbi, run) and
Baylee Cain (rbi, run).
Randleman 3, Montgomery Central 0
Kinzie Ivey got the win in a complete game no-hitter. Ivey allowed 1 walk against 9 strikeouts in seven innings.
Lilah Covington had an rbi-single in the fifth and Randleman scored twice more in the sixth on a triple by
Kaylee Phillips and a ground-out by Ella Rogers which drove in Phillips.
SW Randolph 8, Northwood 4 (9 innings)
The Cougars scored 4 runs in the top of the ninth inning and held no for the win.
There were 3 hits each by Nauttica Parrish (2 doubles, 3 runs) and Bristol Marine (2 rbi). Jada Freeland
had 2 hits with 2 rbi. Single hits by Alyssa Harris (2 rbi), Maddie Strider (rbi), Katelyn West and Maylee Strider.
Chloe Eudy started and pitched five innings and Alyssa Harris got the win in four innings of relief.
Uwharrie Charter 9, Jordan-Matthews 7 (8 innings)
The Eagles scored 3 runs in the top of the seventh to tie and 2 in the eighth for the win.
Julia Nelson had 2 hits, a double and a triple, with an rbi and a run scored. Meghan Peters (rbi, run) and
Tori Dixon (rbi, run) also had 2 hits each. Aubrie Kaufman and Emory Johnson both drove in 2 runs.
West Davidson 12, Wheatmore 2
Skylar Pittman had a hit and drove in both Wheatmore runs and Lylah Gower had the other Warrior hit.
Adalynn Boles gave up 2 earned runs in the loss.
